This movie is downright hilarious and sweet. I think the only downside to this is, it’s so darn difficult to recap! Most of the funny scenes happened inside the mind and I’m afraid I won’t be able to give justice to the movie’s unique humor. But since I really want to share this nice movie with you guys, I decided to give this one a try.
I’m pretty satisfied with everything. I love the plot and the leads. I’ve seen Takumi Saito portray more mature roles before and it’s pretty exciting to watch him do a rom-com. As for Haruka Ayase, well, she’s THE Ayase so I already expect a great performance from her.
In a nutshell, this movie is about an ordinary office lady, Kie Hirano, who loves to daydream. One day, she meets the eldest son of the Kodai family, Mitsumasa Kodai, who can read people’s mind. It’s a gift he and his siblings inherited from their British grandmother. He finds her bizarre imagination amusing and fell in love with her outright. Everything’s going fine, until, Mitsumasa’s mom returns from London and disapproves of Kie. From there, their relationship starts to get a little rickety.
I’m glad that this episode showcased more of our OTP’s married life. At least, the focus shifted back to romance, away from the exhausting corporate dramas and family feuds. Phew! It’s a breather if you ask me.
Anyways, there’s a major turning point in the end. It’s a little tragic, but I consider it a welcome development, plot-wise.
I’m sorry that this post took too long. I actually started writing this post last October (Tehehe!) but since I can only get hold of low-quality videos for this episode that time, I put it on hold. After a few months I finally realized I’m too lazy to find high quality vids so here it is…Tada! My long overdue Episode 7.
This episode basically revolves around Chiwa’s insecurity, the Mamiya Group’s impending financial loss and a conceited ex-girlfriend. Add this together and we’ll make one shaky relationship.
I’m pretty sure I made it clear that I’m one heck of a Kento Yamazaki fan. Imagine my happiness when Okami Shojo to Kuro Oji Subbed Live Action Adaptation is already available online. Gawd, I literally cried happy tears!
I already did my homework and watch the anime version while waiting for the movie. The story-line is cheesy but I like it. Well, I like everything YamaKen so… no surprise in that. Hehehe!
Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai’s big-screen adaptation is finally out for us to feast on and swoon over! The movie greatly exceeded my expectations. The plot drastically thickened as emotions were torn and friendships were put to a test. There were tons of blush-worthy moments and as the movie progressed, I felt like going back to my teenage, hormone-driven years. Tehehe!
Just when everything’s going fine, the bitchy ex-girlfriend suddenly ruins the perfect date. Talking about first rate desperation. Bleh!
Gewd! Chiwa’s Dad is so argh! If he ain’t bald, I’ll really pull all his hair out. He’s literally driving me nuts!
Now, that Chiwa and Hokuto finally had an understanding of their relationship, I believe we will be seeing more angst and problems ahead. Tehehe!
