Drama Preview: A Smile is Very Beautiful

Finally, it’s August! I’ve been literally dragging the days since I saw this show’s teaser. With much anticipation from fans, both for the stars and the novel, I believe this is going to be a success. The leading man and woman are equally beautiful and the story-line is something every millennial can relate to. If no one makes this a recap project, I’m sure up for the task. I already read the novel beforehand and it’s swoon-worthy. It even only took me two days to read it.

Here’s the synopsis from viki:

What is it that makes a man fall in love with a woman at first sight? Her appearance, aura, or status and wealth? Wrong! When campus prince and gaming expert Xiao Nai (Yang Yang) first set sights on Bei Wei Wei (Zheng Shuang), what made him fall in love was her calm and composed demeanor, matched with the way her slender fingers flew across the keyboard. So basically, this story is about two college gamers who met online. I really don’t want to spoil everyone’s anticipation, especially those who have not yet read the novel, with my spoilers and side comments so I’ll just leave it at that. But anyways, basing upon the novel, I’m guessing there will be a interweaving of the real world and the gaming world in this drama.
